Email to propose a trade or ask a question. I specialize in radio airchecks from Illinois, Missouri, and surrounding states but will take much more. My format interests are broad. I mostly prefer 80s, CHR, Urban, AC, rock of all kinds, and Dance, but just about any format can interest me.
I do a lot of recording on my own. I've been in love with radio since early adolescence and regret taping over my early airchecks of Quincy, IL and Central Illinois area stations. As a fellow airchecker put it very well, I record because in ten years most of the stations in existence today will be gone... just as 99Q and KQ-102/Quincy, KZ-93/Peoria, and Power 96/Champaign are long gone. The ones that remain have changed dramatically. Airchecking is a way of holding on to what will soon be a piece of history. Besides that, it's the hobby I love.
